Drug Free Action Alliance is a statewide, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1987. The DFAA provides up-to-date information and develops initiatives to meet the needs of those working to prevent substance abuse throughout Ohio. They focus on addressing substance abuse challenges and advancing prevention across the state.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. SAMHSA leads public efforts to improve behavioral health in the nation. Its mission is to reduce the impact of substance and mental health issues in communities across America.

Prevention FIRST!, formerly the Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati, was founded in 1996 by Senator Rob Portman, Ohio First Lady Emeritus Hope Taft, Rev. Dr. Damon Lynch, and former P&G Chairman John Pepper. The Coalition serves the tri-state region where Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky converge to address youth substance abuse.

Tall Cop Says Stop™ was created by Officer Jermaine Galloway, an Idaho law enforcement officer since 1997. He’s one of America’s top experts in drug and alcohol trends, specializing in underage drinking and drug enforcement for over 15 years. Officer Galloway has trained over 105,000 people nationwide.

The Mission of the DEA is to enforce U.S. controlled substance laws and regulations. It seeks to bring criminal organizations to justice and reduce the supply of illicit drugs. The agency also supports programs designed to combat illegal drug availability and minimize the harmful effects of substance abuse worldwide.
